Wilma Swafford Harris Kosciusko Wilma Harris 91, a longtime resident of Kosciusko, passed away on May 19, 2016 at Montgomery Gardens, Assisted Living, in Starkville, Ms. She has been reunited with her beloved husband Don, after 26 years. She was born in Hamilton County, Illinois on May 28th, 1924, a daughter of Lawrence and Cordelia Swafford. She married Charles D. Harris in September1942 and he preceded her in death. She was retired as a homemaker and enjoyed her daughters and grandchildren. While living in Kosciusko, she was active in the First United Methodist Church, The Walter V. Davis Sunday School Class, a member of Eastern Star and several homemaking clubs. Visitation will be Monday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Kosciusko, with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Scott Wright officiating. Burial will be at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Wilma is survived by two daughters; Shirley Harris Webb (Bill) of Starkville, and Sandra Harris Krogh (Krag) of Big Fork, Montana; one granddaughter, Ashley Webb Koiva (Eric) and two great-grandchildren, Gus and Calliope Koiva, of Starkville, MS In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Arthur, Uel and Matthew Swafford; four sisters, Eunice Clark, Gladys Swafford, Florence Ledford, and Beulah Biggerstaff.
