William Edward "Eddie" Bell

William Edward Bell passed away at his home on January 28, 2023.

Eddie was born on April 6, 1946, in Kosciusko, MS to Frances Roberts Bell and Claude A. Bell Jr. He was the middle child of three boys. He graduated from Kosciusko High School in 1964. In high school he was an athlete, he lettered in baseball and basketball. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Accounting. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Air Force. He was stationed in Guam, Thailand and was a member of SAC in Omaha, Nebraska.


Eddie married Pamela Lorene Williams on March 18, 1967. Together they owned and operated Timberland Supply Company and Kosciusko Mini Storage for over 35 years. He was a member of the Kosciusko Country Club and Redbud Springs Golf and C.C. where he served as club president. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman. He was loyal, honest, possessed a sharp wit and loved talking sports and telling stories. He was a detailed, entertaining storyteller.


Eddie was preceded in death by his mother and father and his wife Pam who passed in October of 2022. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Dodd Bell (Wendy) of Raymond, MS, and Claude A. Bell, III Julia) of Olive Branch, MS. Eddie leaves behind his 2 sons Christopher Bell (Christine) and Grant Bell (Allison). He is survived by 6 grandchildren Greyson, Ava and Sophie Bell; Victoria, Jackson and Genevieve Bell.


Family will receive friends for a graveside services Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00p.m. Pastor Phillip Palmertree will officiate the services.


The family is extremely grateful to Sarah Boone for her dedication as a caregiver to Eddie and Pam at their home.
