William Imes Carroll, 53, of Chattanooga, Tennessee went to be with the Lord at 2:19 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Carroll is officiating the service. Everyone is invited to First Presbyterian Church, 603 Smyth St. Kosciusko, MS for lite lunch in the Fellowship Hall.
William was born April 5, 1971, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Charles and the late Rebecca “Becky” Carroll.
William is survived by his wife, Tina Shiflett Carroll of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughters, Blakeley McMillan, Lauren Smith, and Cassidi Brewer; grandchildren, Colton Carroll, Joseph, William, Bentley, and Elijah McMillan, Kayla, Kolbi, Kaden, Levi, Ariya, and papaw’s baby girl Sophia; father, Charles (Jean) Carroll; brothers, Dr. Shannon (Pamela) Carroll of Madison, Mississippi, Dr. Joshua (Stephanie) Carroll of Macon, Mississippi, Caleb (Leeann) Carroll of Houston, Texas, and Kevin Connell.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca “Becky” Carroll, maternal grandparents, William and Elsie Bartholomew, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sampson Carroll, and his infant brother, Henry (Hank) Carroll.
