William Benjamin Sandridge

July 20, 1989 — April 5, 2024

William Benjamin Sandridge, age 34, passed away on April 5, 2024, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, after a short illness. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

Survivors include his parents Stephanie and Ricky Sandridge. Brother Stephen (Emily) Sandridge and their children Andrew and Madelyn. Grandparents Joan and B.J. Belk. Aunts and Uncles: Benny (Suzanne) Belk, Debbie (Phil) Pickle, Jean (Richard) Briscoe and Rob (Anna) Pickle. Cousins: Laura (Brian) Carr and their children Tanner, Gavin and Matthew, Philip (Brittany) Pickle and their son Philip, Hogan (Kayla) Briscoe and their children Miller Kate and Jack, Mark Briscoe and Robert and Anna Caroline Pickle.


Preceded in death by Great-Grandparents: Herman Sandridge, Robert W. and Clydine Pickle. Uncle Terry Sandridge. Great Grandparents Clyde and Sudie Richardson. Great Uncle and Aunt Thomas and Lavern Mason.


William was a pharmacy technician certified by MS Board of Pharmacy. He earned an Associate Degree from Hinds Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi College. He also earned his private pilot license. He was a lifelong employee of Polk’s Drug Store in Byram and a caregiver for his grandparents. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram and accepted Christ September 12, 1996, at age 7.


Pall Bearers include Phil Pickle, Rob Pickle, Philip Pickle, Hogan Briscoe, Brian Carr, Warren Smith, and Chris Benton. Honorary Pall Bearers include Benny Belk, Richard Briscoe, Mark Briscoe, and Robert Pickle.


Memorials may be made to the Byram First Baptist Church building fund 7541 Siwell Road, Byram, MS 39272.
