Virginia Clark

Virginia Jane Clark, 99, of Thomastown, MS passed away on July 5th, 2023. Visitation is Monday, July 10th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Jordan’s Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS with chapel services to follow. Rev. Brian Hill will officiate.

Virginia was born on February 6, 1924, in Thomastown, MS and married Albert Vernon Clark on October 19th, 1946. They had their son, Gary Seth Clark, on June 9th, 1953.

Her life was full of service and love. She served her Nation as a military wife until 1976 when Albert retired from the Army. She served her husband until his death in 2013. She served her church, Thomastown Baptist Church, as long as she was capable where she filled many roles. She served the Lord in her everyday life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert V. Clark, her son, Gary S. Clark, and her siblings, Elsie Hughes, Roy Young, Jimmy Young, and Francis Young (sister-in-law).

She is survived by Doris Young (sister-in-law); her grandchildren, Lynn Anderson, Sarah Elliott, Janet Limpach, and Michael Clark; their spouses Ken Anderson, Brad Elliott, Brad Limpach, and Sara Clark; and her 9 great-grandchildren, Colin Anderson, Claire Elliott, Ryne Anderson, Ainsley Anderson, Joseph Elliott, Callie Limpach, Jordan Limpach, Adalyn Limpach, and Alwyn Clark.
