U L Evans

Mr. U.L. Evans, 90, of the Hebron Community, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Tyler Holmes Hospital in Winona. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Leach will officiate. Mr. Evans enjoyed farming on his place, where he raised purebred AKC registered blue ticks. He was a retired contractor owning U.L. Evans Construction Company. He was a loving and devoted Husband and Father. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He is survived by son, Lloyd Evans of the Hebron Community; daughters, Jeanice (Craig) Cummings of Purvis, Janie Roberta Eakin of Pearl; brothers, James Travis (Jo Ann) Evans of the Hebron Community and Bobby Joe (Willa Dean) Evans of Carmack; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jeanette Evans; parents, Joel Emit and Maggie Overstreet Evans; daughter, Belinda Lee Sharp; brothers, Harold Evans and Wilburn Evans; sisters, Clara Hughes, Lettie Price, Inez Rosamond, Olean Hodges and Louise Hodges.
