Thomas (Tommy) Jasper James

Thomas Jasper James, 74, died Monday, March 23, 2015 in St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate. He was born in Montgomery County and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Thomas Shawn James and wife, Rachel Faye of Kosciusko; daughters, Elaine Blan and husband, Kenneth of Kosciusko, Cynthia James of Kosciusko; and Ashley Alexander and husband, Ralph of Gluckstadt; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jeff James and Howard James, both of Winona; and sisters, Nora Lynn Story and Nancy Scrogging. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Elaine James; parents, Lester and Emma Cook James; sisters, Gertrude Pope, Flay Vance, and Polly Horne; brothers, Charles James, Henry James, John Earls James. Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer Cemetery Fund.
