Teresa Malone

Teresa K. Malone, 61, of Carthage, MS, passed away on December 24, 2022, at UAB Birmingham. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, French Camp. Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bro. Michael Harper will be officiating.

Teresa was a member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church in French Camp, MS, where she would sing in her younger years. She had a beautiful voice, and everyone loved to hear her sing. Teresa fiercely loved her family, the people of Leake County, and helping Leake countians. Her closest friends knew her to be a person who was always willing to help someone in need, even if it was as simple as listening to a problem and offering comforting words. She loved cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, and her homemade biscuits were legendary. Teresa’s greatest joy was her granddaughter, Emma Rose. As Emma’s grandmother, she was lovingly referred to as ReRe and loved her FaceTime calls with Emma, dropping everything just to see her.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Krystol Glick (Jacob) of Phoenix, AZ, and Brittany Malone Bass (J.W.) of Flowood, MS, and her granddaughter, Emma Rose Glick of Phoenix, AZ.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Representative Bennett Malone; her parents, Frank and Thelma Dolan; brothers Gary Dolan and Rex Dolan; sisters Pat Dolan, Carol Dolan, and Linda Dolan.
