Sylvia Elizabeth Munn, May 23, 1926 – August 26, 2020 Born in Mississippi, her family moved from the Kosciusko area to Newport News, Virginia during the war, and her Dad worked at the ship yard. After high school she lived in Chicago, New York and California. She had several interesting jobs but always enjoyed talking about the then big stage production – Teahouse of the August Moon – beautiful props, costumes, and people and the goat. During her time away she traveled to Paris and many other foreign areas. After returning to Kosciusko, she put her talents to work remodeling houses. Twenty or so years ago she moved to Grenada into a 140 year old home, but she came back to Wake Forest Cemetery to rest. She was preceded in death by her dad, Luther Victor Munn, Sr., mother, Myrtise Naomi Odum Munn; brothers, Luther Victor Munn, Jr. (Victor) and his wife Earline Munn, J.B. Munn and a baby brother; nephews, Luther Victor Munn, III (Pete) and John Thomas Munn. She is survived by niece, Martha Munn Cole.
