Syble Threet Taylor Kosciusko Mrs. Syble Threet Taylor, 83, of Kosciusko, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at home. Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 12 from 1-3 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 3 in Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Parkway Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was born July 14, 1930, near Berea, to Bartley "Doc" and Inez Threet. She was a telephone operator and clerk with South Central Bell, a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a volunteer at the Kosciusko Information Center. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and the Keenagers. She is survived by her sons, Robert E. (Carol) Taylor, Jr, and Tracy N. (Cindy) Taylor, both of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Megan (Drew) Griffin, of Madison, Todd Taylor, Jessica Taylor and Matt Taylor, all of Kosciusko; a great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Hurron of Kosciusko; brothers, Edward Threet and Roy Threet, both of Kosciusko; sisters, Willadean Pee, of Kosciusko, and Lena Howard of Canton. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Taylor, Sr.; brothers, Horace Threet, J.D. Threet, Cecil Threet and James Threet; and sisters, Margaret Philyaw, Gracie Blackwell and Macie Finley. Memorials may be sent to Parkway Baptist Church or French Camp Academy.
