Stephen Boyd Thompson October 15, 1954-March 2, 2016 Steve Thompson of Kosciusko died Wednesday, March 2, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, Mississippi. Visitation will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, March 5, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 "Stevie" was born on October 15, 1954 to Mary "Penny" Thompson and Boyd Thompson. He was a graduate of Kosciusko High School and Mississippi State University. Steve was preceded in death by his father Boyd Bradford Thompson of Kosciusko. He is survived by his daughter Amber Thompson Gray (Duncan) of Oxford, his mother Penny Thompson of Kosciusko, brothers Thomas Thompson (Cathy) of North Prairie, Wisconsin and Kenneth Thompson of Fluker, Louisiana, nephews Garrett Thompson (Cara) of North Prairie, Wisconsin and Micah Thompson (Kelsey) of Starkville, and three grandchildren Harper, Sadie, and Miller Gray of Oxford. Steve was an avid outdoors man, musician, and artist. He was a gentle soul and devoted father and son. He will be greatly missed.
