Shirley Faye Bain Taylor, 81, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at her home. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Carson Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Shannon Pennington, Rev. Doyle Mitchell, and Rev. Ralph Hunt will officiate. She was a member of Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church and the Ladies Auxiliary for 28 years and served as a Sunday school teacher. She loved to cook for everyone. She enjoyed antiques, flowers, gardening, quilting, and reading. Survivors include her husband, James T. Taylor of Ethel; son, James E. "Bub" Taylor and wife, Shelia of Ethel; daughters, Deborah T. Ray and husband, Larry, Carolyn Clark and husband, Johnny, and Lisa Odom and husband, David, all of Ethel; grandchildren, Holly Ray, Brad Taylor, Brian Taylor, Casey Tindoll, Haley Tindoll, Zack Clark, Derek "D.J." Odom, and Austin Odom; great-grandchildren, Brandon Chayse Taylor, Landon Tindoll, Jaycee Tindoll, Mason Tindoll, Eli Tindoll, Catherine Tindoll, Caiden Jace Odom, Gannon Clyde Odom, and Kiptyn Alex Odom; and sisters, Jewel Charlene Clark and Pamela Diane Braswell, both of Ethel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Wade and Thelma Russom Bain; grandson, Cody Wade Clark; great-granddaughter, Ana Claire Taylor; sister, Linda Burkes; and brother, Malcolm Bain. Pallbearers are Brad Taylor, Casey Tindoll, Brian Tindoll, D.J. Odom, Zack Clark, Austin Odom, and Haley Tindoll (Landon). Honorary pallbearers are Randy Clark and Rodger Clark.
