Shirley Ellington Williams, 88, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her home. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home and 12 :00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Thomastown Cemetery. Rev. Rick Hammarstrom and Rev. Greg Fortenberry will officiate.
Shirley was born November 28, 1935, to Allie Ellington and Nola Odom Ellington in Mississippi. She was a retired restaurant owner. Shirley was a member of Thomastown Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James Kelly Williams of Thomastown; daughters, Beth McLellan of Kosciusko, and Sara (Danny Ray) Barnette of Kosciusko; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; brothers Mike Ellington and Anthony Ellington of Thomastown, and Jack Ellington of Arkansas.
Mrs. Williams was preceded by her husband, Kelly “Slim” Williams; parents, Allie Ellington, and Nola Odom Ellington; daughter, Linda Diane Williams; and son-in-law, Eris Bernard McLellan.
Serving as pallbearers are Teddy Harkins, Shane Dees, Chris Crutcher, Jason Mattiace, Keith Brown, and Kenny Chunn.
