Sara Etta Whittington Allen, 79, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Baptist Attala in Kosciusko, MS. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 1 at Jordan Funeral Home and from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Berea Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday with burial in the Berea Cemetery. Rev. Tony Black and Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate. Survivors include her son, Tommy (Pearl) Allen of McCool; seven grandchildren, Angel Halderman, Sam Bell, Tracy Allen, Tim Bell, Toni Jay Engle, Stacy Allen, and Shane Allen; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, James E. Allen; son, Tony James Allen; daughter, Laura Bell Taylor; and parents, Melvin and Laura Hearon Whittington.
