Samuel "Sam" Burnley

Samuel “Sam” Burnley, 69, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his residence in Gulfport, MS. Graveside services are at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at Sallis Cemetery. Samuel served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the American Legion. He was a truck driver. Samuel is survived by his wife, Irene Burnley of Gulfport, MS; sons, Blake (Debbie) Bumbard of Tyler, TX, Chris (Candice) Burnley of Leesville, LA; brother, Bill (Donna) Burnley of Tyler, TX; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Samuel Burnley and Zeta Evans Burnley.
