Ruth Smith Cannon

Mrs. Cannon was born April 12, 1923. Ruth graduated from Kosciusko High School and attended Mississippi State Women's College. Ruth and Louis were married on November 17, 1946 and were blessed with almost 70 years together. Ruth and Louis were active members of the Bethel Methodist Church of Kosciusko. She is survived by husband, Louie Canon, Sr of Spring, TX; son, Bart Canon, Jr. (Susan) of Spring, TX; six grandchildren, Joseph Ross Canon (Miranda) of Midland, TX, Allison Canon Pailes (Christopher) of San Antonio, TX, Erin Canon Will (Jeffery) of Corpus Christi, TX, Lauren Elise Canon of Spring, TX, Matthew Edward Canon (Jessica) of Richland, NC, and Kristen Elizabeth Canon of Virginia Beach, VA; and five great-grandchildren, Annelisa Grace Pailes, Alayna Joy Pailes, Cambree Leigh Canon, Avaree Aniston Canon, and Aubri Lynn Canon. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Ross Canon.
