Ruth Maddox Miller

Ruth McCrory Maddox Miller, 87, of Kosciusko passed away peacefully May 31, 2022 at Atwood Personal Care Home. Visitation is 1:00-2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Burial will be at Jerusalem Cemetery. Rev. Butch Bell will be officiating. Ruth was born June 22, 1934 to Manny Whit McCrory and Bessie Sproles McCrory in Attala County, MS. She was employed with J.C. Penny for 17 years. Ruth is survived by sons Gene (Kay) Maddox, Donnie (Sandra) Maddox, and Richard (Kathy) Maddox of Kosciusko; sisters Faye Stevens and Ruby Terry of Kosciusko; Grandchildren Amy Shropshire, Brian Maddox, Krissy Williams, Derek Maddox, Erica Chunn, and Cory Maddox; Great-grandchildren Libby Floyd, Ashley Shropshire, Draven Maddox, MacKenzie Maddox, Marley Simmons, Cailey Maddox, Clay Maddox, Kendall Chunn, Harley Chunn, Maddox Chunn, Mason Williams, and Cooper Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband Pellon Maddox, Sr. and sister Frances Jackson.
