Ruby Jeanette Evans Hebron Community Ruby Jeanette Evans, 82, passed away June 27, 2020 at Vaiden Living Center. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hebron Cemetery in Montgomery County, MS. Rev. Jimmy Leach officiated. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, U. L. Evans of the Hebron Community; son, Upton Lloyd Evans of the Hebron Community; daughters, Janice Cummings of Purvis and Janie Roberta Evans of Pearl; nine grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; brothers, Alford Eakes and Larry Eakes, both of Laurel; sisters, Bonnie Moore of New Orleans, Sandra Eakes of KY, and Linda Dell of MS. She was preceded in death by daughter, Belinda Lia Evans; and her parents, Henry Alton and Ruby Eakes. Memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church.
