Roy Travis Lewis, 85, a retired salesman, died August 14, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation is Friday, August 15, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Mathiston, MS. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Marene Pender Lewis of Jackson; children, Cheryl Witherspoon (Mike) of Woodstock, GA, Kevin Lewis (Debi) of Flowood, Sonya Fudge (Jeff) of Destin, FL, and Renee Brannon (Buddy) of Brandon; grandchildren, Heather, Sean, Sarah Kate, Molly, Ben, Caroline, Sam, Jacob, and Erin; great-grandchildren, Travis and Maggie; brother, Roland Lewis (Marsha) of Jackson; sister, Florene Gaughf (Jack) of Brandon; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Loyce Lewis; and sister, Lola Mae Lewis Martin. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice Ministries.
