Roy C. Goss, Sr., 88, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Martha Jo Leslie Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 8 and 9-2 p.m. Saturday at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry C. Corbett will officiate. He was a member of Kosciusko First Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He also was a heavy equipment diesel mechanic for MS Road Supply for 64 years. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Sta-Home Hospice. Survivors include his son, Roy C. Goss, Jr. of Kosciusko; daughters, Belinda Goss of Kosciusko and Carol Goss Burnham of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jeff Adkerson, Paul Adkerson, Sera Johnson, and Amy Burnham; great-grandchildren, Trey Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Katelyn Entrekin, Mason Burnham, Emily Adkerson, and Lauren Adkerson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Lewis Goss; parents, Charles Walter Goss and Ludie Campbell Goss; two sisters; and one brother. Pallbearers will be Jeff Adkerson, Paul Adkerson, Trey Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Robbie McCafferty, and Charles Allen. Honorary pallbearer will be Cliff Townsend.
