Roy Allen Ballard

Roy Allen Ballard, 79, died October 1, 2014 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko, MS. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. Don Ray will officiate. He was born in Attala County, MS and was of the Baptist faith. He also was a veteran in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Faye Ferguson Ballard of the Zama Community; son, Dan Ballard and wife, Cindy of Winston County; and five special grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Ballard; parents, Earl and Mozelle Ballard; brothers, Herbert, Hubert, Guy, and Jessie; and sisters, Mable, Nell, and Mary Catherine. Pallbearers are Dave Rogers, Donny Breazeale, Chet Ferguson, Bobby Ballard, Butch Hanna, John Gentry, Freddy Hollis, and Charles Thrasher. Memorial may be made to the Ebenezer Cemetery fund.
