Rosalie Beecham, 101, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in Decatur, Alabama, at her daughter’s residence. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with burial at Kosciusko City Cemetery. Rev. Dallas Beecham, Rev. Shannon Pennington, Rev. Paul Ward, and Rev. Charlie Gainey will officiate the services.
Rosalie was born June 15, 1923, to John Henry Ward and Ida Bell Faulkner in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church.
Rosalie is survived by her son, Dallas (Patricia) Beecham of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughters, Patricia Bowie of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Jean (Percy) Burns of Decatur, Alabama, and Rosemary Bell of Decatur, Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Lundgren of Rehopeth Beach, Delaware and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Ward and Ida Bell Faulkner Ward; husband, James O. Beecham; grandchildren, James Bowie and Kevin Bell; son-in-law, C.W. Bell and John Bowie; brothers, J.O. Ward and Charlie Ward.
