Ricky “Big Rick” Ervin,59, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away August 20, 2023, at his residence. Visitation is 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home. The funeral service is at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Donald Self will officiate.
Ricky was born July 14, 1964, to Louis Edward Ervin and Patsy Seaton Mayberry in Hayti, Missouri. He was a company man with Chevron and had worked offshore for 30 years. Ricky was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. He had served his country as a marine. Ricky loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing cornhole, Chevrolets, and most importantly his grandkids.
Ricky is survived by his wife Alicia Ervin of Kosciusko, Mississippi; mother Patsy Mayberry of Carmack; sons Kolby (Sara) Ervin of Caruthersville, Missouri and Jamie (Lourie) Lepard of Kosciusko, Mississippi; daughter Rhiannon (Aaron) Blaine of Carmack; brother William (Sonya) Ervin of Carmack; grandchildren Gavin Lepard, Kaylee Lepard, Bryson Rushing, Hadley Edwards, Rylee Blaine, Emersyn Ervin, Kolson Ervin, and Maggie Blaine; niece and nephews Derek Ervin, Jade Ervin, and Zack Trehern.
He was preceded in death by his father Louis Ervin, stepfather Glenn Mayberry, and grandparents.
