Rickey Wayne Davis, 62, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Freddie Tanksley will officiate. He was the owner of Attala Engine Rebuilders and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Davis of Kosciusko; daughters, Joyce Hathcock and Jean DeFord, both of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Brandie Sudduth, Chad Hathcock, Chris Wilkerson, Lee Hathcock, Morgan Hathcock, Hailey Teasler, and Khristy Johnson; great-grandchildren, Blakely Hathcock, Connor Teasler, Liam Teasler, Gavin Malone, and Taylor Daniels; brother, Butch Davis of Kosciusko; and sister, Dianne Cain of Sallis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ernestine Beatrice Snow Davis. Pallbearers are Chad Hathcock, Lee Hathcock, John Teasler, Matt Johnson, Chris Wilkerson, Jamie Pope, Danny DeFord, and Chuck DeFord. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America.
