Richard Mckinley

Richard Tyler McKinley, 74, of McCool, Mississippi passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House. Visitation is 12:00 p.m. until 1: 30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home.

Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McCool, MS. Rev. Owen Gordon, Jr. will officiate.

Richard was born May 15, 1948, to Andrew Tyler McKinley and Mary Agnes McKinley in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was in the wood business lifelong. The past 15 years he was a heavy equipment operator for International Paper. Richard was a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.

Richard is survived by his son Ricky (Debra) McKinley of West, Mississippi; daughter Meri Anne (Glen) Lawson of McCool, Mississippi; grandsons Tyler McKinley, Ryan T. McKinley, Blake McKinley, Matthew Lawson, and Noah Lawson; and great-grandchildren Easton McKinley, and Ryleigh McKinley.

He was preceded in death by parents Andrew McKinley and Mary Whitmire McKinley and sister Mildred Ford.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyler McKinley, Ryan T. McKinley, Blake McKinley, Matthew Lawson, Noah Lawson, and Ricky McKinley.
