Rev. Roy Lofton, Jr. 86, Mooreville, MS formerly of Kosciusko, MS died February 8, 2021 at his residence in Mooreville, MS. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Rev. Lofton was Owner and Manager of Lofton’s Janatorial Service. He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Saltillo, MS and pastored several churches in North Mississippi area. He also served his country with the National Guard for eight years. Rev. Lofton is survived by his wife Frances Lofton of Mooreville, daughters Christine (Neal) Ramage of Mooreville and Melissa Nathan of Tupelo, MS; sisters: Beverly (Kermit) Steen of Kosciusko, MS and Margaret Parker of Jackson, MS. Four grandchildren: Christy Smith, Misty Moore, Skye Cavalier, River Hammock. Six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Verdie Mae Phillips Lofton, four brothers and one sister.
