Randol Caldwell Lindsay

July 6, 1952 — November 14, 2024

Randol Caldwell Lindsay, 72, passed away on November 14, 2024, at the Windsor Nursing Center in Columbus. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home with a graveside service and interment to follow in the Parkway Cemetery with Rev. Victor Lee officiating.

 He was born July 6, 1952, in Attala County, MS. He graduated from Kosciusko High School, Mississippi College, Southwestern Baptist Seminary, and New Orleans Baptist Seminary where he obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree. He pastored numerous churches in Mississippi and worked in hospitals in Meridian and Houston Texas. In addition to his family, he loved antiques, flowers, cooking, and animals. He moved back to Kosciusko to care for his mom, Fay Lindsay in her last years and ran an antique shop.

 Survivors include his sons, Jonathan Caldwell Lindsay of Northport, AL, and Brian Edward Lindsay (Molly Lindsay) of Saltillo, MS; grandchildren, Jonathan Caldwell (Cal) Lindsay, Finn Conrad Lindsay, Elijah Alexander (Eli) Lindsay, and Ella Claire Lindsay; brother, Lamar Lindsay M.D. (Vicki) of Collierville, TN and nephews Zachary and Caleb Lindsay. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Caldwell Lindsay, and Hilda Fay Riddell Lindsay; infant brother, Frank Irving Lindsay and granddaughter Harper Ann Lindsay.  Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lindsay, Brian Lindsay, Telford Lindsay, Dodd Lindsay, Ryan Lindsay, and Sherrill Harlan.  Memorials may be made to Kosciusko First Baptist Church https://fbckosciusko.com
