Ora Faye Mckinnon

After a long hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s, our Mother, Ora “Faye” McKinnon, “ passed away Peacefully Saturday Night, November 6th, 2021. She was 91 years old. Our family and I have already grieved for the mother we lost two years. Today we are sad for the Things she missed out on in life, especially getting to know her many small great and great, great grandchildren And seeing her grandchildren go through their adult lives are just a few things she never got to enjoy. Ora Faye McKinnon was 91 years old, Married to Vivian McKinnon in 1953. They were married for 68 years. She was born to Alvin and Annie Yates on February 14, 1930. She was an active member of Second Baptist Church. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great, great grandmother. She is leaves behind one son, Stan McKinnon and his wife, Chris, of Murfreesboro, Tn; one daughter, Vicki Jackson, and her husband, Francis, of Vicksburg, Ms. ; two stepsons both deceased, Bobby Ray and Billy Ear McKinnon of Kosciusko, Ms. Four granddaughters, Ashlee Lancaster, and her husband Johnny; Natalie Davenport and her husband Josh; Tasha Brandon and her husband Michael; Donna Lindsey and her husband Wayne and Grandson, And one grandson Jason Kuntz and his wife Nikki. She has 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Harold Yates of Madison, Ms. She’s leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Vivian McKinnon; her parents, Alvin and Annie Yates, Sister Bessie Mae Palmertree; brothers, Cecil, Norvelle, Red, Arlon, and Vernelle Yates.
