Oberia Hughes Cummins, 93, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her home in Pearl, MS. Visitation is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Donald Self will officiate. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include children, Jerri (J.W.) Thrasher of Kosciusko, Jan (Dan) Behringer of Brandon, MS, Marion (Robert) Davis of Pearl, Paulette (Nathan) Miller of Riverview, FL, Gail (Jack) Bicket of Springhill FL, Debi Muse of Wetumpka, AL, Jackie (David) Fiveash of Coldwater, MS, and Kenny (Deone) Tisdale of Pineville, MS; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and twenty-four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ramona Skelton; parents, Jesse Lee and Mattie Barnes Ford; husband, Jack Hughes; and seven siblings. Pallbearers are Jeremy Fiveash, Dan Behringer, Jack Bicket, David Fiveash, Vernon Skelton, Larry Skelton, and Anthony Skelton. Memorials may be sent to Sta-Home Hospice in Jackson, MS.
