Norma Faye Green Davis

Norma Faye Green Davis, a resident of Kosciusko MS, passed away on March 27, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 19, 1938 to Henry Thomas and Gladys Shearer Green. Mrs. Davis, a retired cosmetologist, was the owner of a hair and nail salon for 38 years. Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Mike Duran (Nancy) of Cypress TX, Sandra Duran Greer of Clinton MS, Marcus Dees (Dawn) of Tomball TX, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings H. T. Green Jr., Raymond Green, Lester Green, Maryella Blanton, Carolyn Prewitt, Melba Meggs, Sherry Henley, Beverly Hancock, Joyce Eads, and Brenda Morrow. She was preceded in death by her husband James Davis, her parents Henry Thomas Green Sr. and Gladys Shearer Green, her sister Ruby Barranco, and her brother Charles Green. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Services will be held on Monday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Memorials may be made to Kosciusko's First Baptist Church.
