Nina Thweatt Barrett

Nina Christine Thweatt Barrett of Kosciusko, MS born May 22, 1932, She passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS at the age of 89. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with interment in McClain Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Meggs will officiate. She was a homemaker who enjoyed making beautiful quilts and gardening. She loved cooking and entertaining family in her home. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church. Nina was survived by niece, Pam Thweatt(Wayne) Loper; Kevin (Patricia) Thweatt; Bobby (Brenda) Thweatt, and Randy (Mandy) Thweatt; great nephew, Joshua Thweatt; great nieces, Christy (Phillip) Buddington, Leigh Ann (Daniel) Norwood, Sharon Massey, Britany Loper and Olivia Mae Loper; special friends, Diane and Ed Cwiklik. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Gowan and Mae Ware Thweatt; brothers, Pervis Thweatt and Herbert Thweatt; special friend Billy Gipson.
