Naomi Poland Jordan

Naomi "Noni" Poland Jordan, 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her home. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. Friday, May 5 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Dr. Scot Wright will officiate. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. A life member of the WM women and member of Mrs. Walter V. Davis Sunday school class. She was the secretary for the Administrative Council, Board of Trustees, the Pastor- Parish Committee, and served on the Parsonage Committee. She was a member of the Thursday Morning Bible Study Group, and the New Book Lover's Club. She loved to play Bridge both duplicate and contract. She worked with her husband at Jordan Furniture Company as a bookkeeper and a sales person until retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda "Sissy" Bailey and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Stephanie Douglas, Jenny Jones and her husband, William, Kelly Powers and her husband, Jonathan, Billy Albans, and Katie Ross and her husband, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Geordy Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Sara Bailey Jones, Lizzie Kate Jones, Bailey Powers, Emerson Powers, Ty Albans, Judd Albans, Sadie Albans, Christian Ross, Noah Ross, and Jonah Ross; and her caregiver, Annie Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius W. Jordan, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Jordan Dale; parents, Clyde and Minnie Poland; and sister, Frances Scoggin and her husband, Lockwood.
