Nancy Louise Shields Pettit, 89, of Collinsville, MS passed away at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi on December 16, 2023. Visitation is 5p.m. - 7p.m. Monday, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Jerusalem Cemetery. Rev. Virgil Walters will officiate the services.
Mrs. Pettit was born February 7, 1934, to James Grover and Mary Horn Shields in Attala County. Mrs. Pettit retired from Lake Shores INC manufacturing. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi.
She is survived by her husband Billy Wayne Pettit of Collinsville and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Olivia Johnson, Lucille Johnson and Bernice Sims and brothers Bernard Shields, Ernest Shields, Arlie Shields, Herman Shields, Grover Shields Bingham Shields, and Ennis Shields.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gaige Pettit, Kent Henderson, Lamar Pettit, Phil Pettit, Wayne Pettit, Carl Sims
