Nan Summers, 62, of Kosciusko passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at Choctaw Regional Medical Center. Visitation is 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Dr. Danny Dodds, Bro. Justin Davis, and Bro. Greg Ballard will officiate.
Nan was born March 17, 1961, in Attala County, Mississippi to Henry Elmer Harman, Sr. and Viola Lavenia Woods Harman. She was a registered nurse for 30 + years working at Tri County Home Health, Diamond Grove, Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital, and Baptist Health Systems. Nan was a member of the Nursing Association and Grace Covenant Church in Maben.
Nan is survived by her husband Rev. Ricky Summers of Kosciusko, Mississippi; sons Steve (Ashley) Summers of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Mike (Maegan) Summers of Ackerman, Mississippi; grandchildren Gracie Summers, Isaac Summers, Gabriel Summers, James Summers, John Summers, and JoAnna Summers; brothers Henry (Rae) Harman of Zemuly community and Paul (Betty) Self of O’Brian, Florida; and brother-in-law Sonny Moore of Zemuly and brother-in-law Ronnie (Suzanne) Summers; sister-in-law Shelia Summers; and she is survived by a large number of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Harman and Viola Woods Harman, sister Margie Moore, brother Red Self, brother-in-law David Summers, sister-in-law Charlotte Self and sister-in-law Linda Harman.
Serving as pallbearers are Jody Harman, Tim McCown, Brandon McCown, Will Chunn, Matt McCown, Ronnie Summers, Robert Summers, and Joel Hill.
