Minnie Pearl Woods Jefcoat, 77 passed this life Thursday January 22, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama surrounded by her loving family. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 26, 2020 at Clarksdale United Pentecostal Church 115 Ritch Street in Clarksdale, Mississippi where she was a member with burial in Coahoma County Memorial Gardens Cemetery (outside Clarksdale on Highway #6). Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko in charge of arrangements. Minnie was born March 26, 1942 in Charleston, Mississippi. In her early years she worked at Sarkes Tarzian factory in Clarksdale that built tuners for television sets, her and her husband Dennis co-owned Jefcoat's Standard Service Station and Exxon on Highway 61 and Lu-Rand Grocery. Survivors include three daughters: Debra Jefcoat Long and husband Clyde of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Wendy Jefcoat Barbee and her husband Terry of Judsonia, Arkansas and Denise Jefcoat Moorman of Helena, Arkansas. One sister Gracie Dismuke and her husband Donnie of Sheffield, Alabama. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jayme Richardson, Ashlee Reed, Zaine Barbee, Will Moorman, Brandon, Mikey, A.j. and Caleb. Four great-grandchildren and a host of special Nieces and Nephews. She was also survived by a very special brother-in-law Donnie Dismuke. She was preceded in death by her father Clayburn Woods, mother Leler Martin Woods ChadwicK and her step-father J.W. Chadwick,and stepmother Leona Woods, sister Lucille Mullens, brother Billy Woods and husband Dennis Jefcoat. Memorials may be made to the First United Pentecostal Church 115 Ritch Street Clarksdale, MS 38614
