Mildred Dickerson Jenkins

Mildred Dickerson Jenkins, 83, a retired factory worker, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko. Visitation is Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Sallis Baptist Church with burial in the Sallis Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Gene Richardson will officiate the service. She was a member of Sallis Baptist Church. Survivors include: a daughter, Debbie Cain Lindsey of Sallis; two sons, Danny Cain and wife, Sondra of Sallis and Tim Jenkins and wife, Allie of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Shane Horne, Jonathan Horne, Daniel Cain, Ryan Cain, Mary Kate Jenkins, and Madeline Jenkins; step-grandchildren, Suzanne Grayson and Brandy Proctor; great-grandchildren, Dylan Horne, Deegan Horne, Weston Horne, Hailey Horne, and Addison Cain; step great-grandchildren, Bryce Cook, Xander Cook, Elizabeth Grayson, Brent Zachary, Brady Zachary, and Ty Proctor; sisters, Eva D. Herod of Enterprise, MS, Marjorie Ferguson of Folson, LA, and Nora English of Vicksburg, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Jenkins; two brothers, Norman Dickerson and Ray Dickerson; and her parents, Gus William and Emma Lee Waddell Dickerson. Pallbearers are Daniel Cain, Ryan Cain, Jonathan Horne, Shane Horne, Herbert Dew, and Dwight Roberts. Memorials may be made to Sallis Baptist Church.
