Mildred Adams, 100, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, June 20 from 9-11 a.m.at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Ron Thomas and Rev. C.J. Caufield will officiate the service. She was born in Ethel, MS on September 26, 1913 to Dan and Edna Cox Bain. She was a long time member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church. Also she a church quilter and Sunday school teacher. Survivors include: children, Betty Jean Wasson, Annette Weaver (Jimmy) Bonnie Burns (Robert) and Frank Adams (Delorise); grandchildren, Lauran Sanders, Angela Tommasini (Joe), Bryan Weaver (Tracy), Tracy Jackson (Bill), Terri Mabile (Matt), Laura Hunt, Jennifer McGary and Jon David; twenty-six great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ora Belle Flint (Hilman). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde Adams; brothers and their wives, Hollis and Louise Bain and Quitman and Ella Mae Bain; son-in-law Roy Wasson; and great-grand daughter, Melissa Sanders.
