Michael Frank Johnson Silverhill, AL It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Frank Johnson announces that Michael died unexpectedly on February 12, 2018 at the age of 60. Michael was a geologist for PELA since 1990 and a resident of Silverhill, AL. Michael is survived by his sisters and brothers Patti Spaulding (Fred Spaulding), Jeannie Johnson (Patty Hughes), Peggy Green (Scott Green) Mark Johnson (Ceil Johnson), Rusty Wells (Kevin Brown), Patrick Johnson (Valerie Johnson) and Dr. Mallory Johnson (Dr. Bruce Rizzo) along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, Shaun Catherine Johnson, his sister, Lori Johnson Taylor, his father, Dr. Frank Wendel Johnson and his beloved mother, Doris Leigh Cunningham Johnson. Michael was born in Mobile, AL on March 19, 1957 - the first of nine children. He graduated from McGill-Toolen High School and the University of South Alabama. On November 27, 1991, he married Shaun Catherine Hamry, the love of his life. Michael was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, neighbors and all who knew him. The family is planning a private service to be held in the near future.
