Michael Aaron Horrall

Michael Aaron Horrall, 49, passed away on Wednesday, September 5 at G. V. Sonny Montgomery Veteran Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, September 9 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 10 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael. Rev. James Coleman will officiate. He was a member of Grace United General Baptist in Paragould, AR. He was a plant manager at First Class Linen in Durant. He worked for the Holmes County Sheriff's Department and was a police officer for Durant and Goodman. He was a member of the American Legion Post #44, where he served as adjutant. He was also a member of the American Legion Riders Post #44 in Kosciusko. He served in the United States Army during the Desert Storm Conflict and the MS Army National Guard, where he served in the First Calvary. Survivors include his sons, Joseph Aaron Horrall of Kosciusko and Kenyon A. Horrall of Durant; daughter, MaKenzie Dainelle Horrall of Kosciusko; granddaughter, Londynn Horrall of Jackson; parents, Michael Derby and Donna Carpenter Horrall of Kosciusko; brother, Jason Horrall of Kosciusko; several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death his maternal grandparents, Joe and Josephine Carpenter; and his paternal grandparents, Derby and Maxine Horrall. Pallbearers will be Steve Horrall, Kelly Horrall Hemmert, Joseph Horrall, Edward Coates, Steve Deason, MaKenzie Horrall, Kenyon Horrall, and Reginald Richardson.
