Melvin Orea Philyaw, 83, of Kosciusko, MS, died Monday, September 21, 2015 in Fairhope, AL. Visitation is from 11 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko, MS. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at the Attala Memory Gardens near Kosciusko. Survivors include daughters, Melody Philyaw Hammitt of Fairhope, AL, Retha Diane Hutchison of Ethel; son, David Orea Philyaw of Kosciusko; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
