Mary N. Wood, 70, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Baptist-Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. Graveside services are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Chester Carlisle is officiating the services.
Mary was born March 18, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi to William Wayne Wood and Elva Doy Dendy Wood. She was a factory worker and a member of Ethel Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Mike (Margaret) Wood of Water Valley, Mississippi and Mark (Brenda) Wood of Smithville, Mississippi; four nephews; two nieces; a host of great nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Wayne Wood and Elva Dendy Wood.
