Mary Nell O'Briant Johnson

Mary Nell O’Briant Johnson, 91, of Carthage, passed away on November 28, 2024, at her residence. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. from the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Don Cook will officiate the services.
Mary Nell was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church and a retired Branch Manager of Union Planters Bank in Kosciusko.
She is survived by one son, Gregg (Lita) Moore of Carthage, MS; one daughter, Terry (Doug) Overstreet of Kosciusko; seven grandchildren, Paige Lawrence, Douglas Overstreet, Jason Moore, Stefan McManus, P.J. Overstreet, Michael Moore, and Ross Overstreet; eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Johnson; son, Don Paige Moore; parents, Clyde O’Briant and Ella Mae Curtis O’Briant; three brothers and five sisters.
Douglas Overstreet, Stefan McManus, Jason Moore, P.J. Overstreet, Michael Moore, and Ross Overstreet will be pallbearers.
