KOSCIUSKO, MS. – A Mass of Resurrection for Mary Katherine Whitam Jenkins, 84, of Sallis, MS, who died November, 13, 2016 will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 16 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Rev. Odel Medina, S.T. officiating. Burial will follow at the Harmonia Congregational Methodist Church in Sallis, MS under the direction of Jordan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Jordan Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm immediately followed by prayer of the rosary. There will also be a visitation at St. Therese Catholic Church on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 am before Mass begins at 11:00 am. Mrs. Jenkins was born December 20, 1931 in Natchez, MS, the daughter of Charles Leroy Whitam, Sr. and Catherine McCabe Whitam. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Levi Cecil Jenkins, Jr.; and daughter, Katherine Louise Jenkins; her two brothers, Charles Leroy Whitam, Jr. and William Andrew Whitam and his wife, Mary. Survivors include four sons and four daughters, Randy Jenkins (Nancy), Lane Jenkins (BJ), Glenn Jenkins (Vivian), Cynthia Lyles, Linda Dollar (Woody), James Jenkins, Donna O'Brien (Austin), Becky Sollie (Tim). Grandchildren, Alex Jenkins (Cee-Cee), Maddy Jenkins, Katie Katzenmeyer, Molly Crouch (Blaine), Brian Jenkins, Amy Riggs (Austin), William Lyles (Julie), Brent Lyles, Jacob Dollar (Jessie), Eric Dollar, Ingrid O'Brien, Katherine O'Brien, Audrey Jordan (Will), Emily Sollie, Rachel Sollie; and is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, Greg Whitam; and sister-in-law, Rose Whitam.
