Mary Burle Alexander McDonald, 95, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Hunt and Rev. Mark Parnell will officiate, She was a member of Sandhill Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Edward (Gail) McDonald, Royce (Linda) McDonald, and Billy (Susan) McDonald; daughters, Charlotte Cook, Frances (Jimmy) Cockroft, and Mary (Neal) Alsup; daughter-in-law, Deborah McDonald; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; five brothers; and one sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy McDonald; parents, James Earl and Lula Ramage Alexander; daughter, Shirley Johnson; son, Malcolm McDonald; grandson, Danny Cook; great-granddaughter, Jenna Rose Dayton; one brother; and two sisters. Pallbearers are Stewart McDonald, Kline McDonald, Andrew Cook, Russell Johnson, Crosby McDonald, Tony Alsup, Dwight Johnson, Allen McCrory, and Clay McCombs.
