Marvin Larry Pickle, 75, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry C. Corbett is officiating.


Larry was born February 24, 1948, to Marvin A. Pickle and Jo Doris England Pickle in Attala County, Mississippi. He was of the Baptist Faith. Larry was in many business ventures. He was in retail sales and traveled to many trade shows all over the southeast and east coast, he co-owned M & P Construction company building many subdivisions and commercial buildings. Larry also was in the restaurant business which included Scottie’s and Old Trace Grill. He loved to fly and was a licensed pilot.



Larry is survived by his wife, Glenda Pickle of Kosciusko, Mississippi; son, Scott (Shelia) Pickle of Kosciusko, Mississippi; daughter, Ginger (John) Hearne of Saltillo, Mississippi; grandchildren, Griffin(Stefanie) and Taylor Pickle, Shepard, Scarlett, and Jack Hearne; soon to be great granddaughter JoAnna Pickle; brother, Phil (Debbie) Pickle of Kosciusko, Mississippi; sister, Patrice (JR) McCrory of Sallis, Mississippi; two nieces, Christi (David) Blair and Laura (Brian) Carr; one nephew, Philip (Brittany) Pickle.


He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin A. Pickle and Jo Doris Pickle.


Serving as pallbearers are Griffin Pickle, Taylor Pickle, David Blair, Philip Pickle, Brian Carr, and Houston Blair. Serving as honorary pallbearers are C.L. Manderson, Bob Draper, Danny Evans, Mike England, Jimmy England, Jimmy Briscoe, Fred Watkins, Charles England, and Charles Hawkins.
