Marion C. Hill

Mrs. Hill was born October 12, 1942, in Clarksdale, to Robert Crentee and Mary Elizabeth Hornbeak Clanton. She was a homemaker, who was devoted to her family, animals and the Thomastown Christian Church, where she was a member for 42 years, and she was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary, Chapter 37, and served as its treasurer for the last ten years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Clanton. Those surviving her are her husband, Eugene Brock Hill, Jr., of Kosciusko; children, Eugene Brock (Christie) Hill, III, of Brandon, and Elizabeth Hill (Todd) Yuille, of Kosciusko; three grandchildren, Walker Yuille, Nolen Yuille, and Avery Hill; brothers, Robert (Edith) Clanton, Jr., of Indianola, and Lynn Clanton, of Memphis, TN; a sister, Mildred McGill, of Cleveland; and her dogs, Spencer and Sidney, and cats, Rosie and Kitty Rat. Pallbearers are Sammy Smith, Bill Lacey, Walker Yuille, Nolen Yuille, Robert Autry, and Kirk Hill; Honorary Pallbearers are the members of the Chapter 37 of the Attala County DAV.
