Marie Watkins Clark

Marie Watkins Clark, 69, passed away on Thursday April 26, 2018. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018. Rev. Tony Black will officiate. She was a member of Carson Ridge Baptist Church. She was an accountant for Nowell Funeral Home and Dickerson, Inc. She made pottery and owned T.O.U. Pottery. Survivors include the love of her life, Thomas Steed of Ethel; daughters, Lisa (Ken) Sanders of Carrollton, Shay (Chris) Gray of Vaiden, Jo (Larry) Wilcher of Walnut Grove, and Marcy (Clyde) Parkerson of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Clark Sanders, Belle Sanders, Michael Gray, Logan Wilcher, Chandler Wilcher, Jon Dylan Wilcher, Courtney Jo Parkerson, Cole Parkerson, and Makayla Parkerson; a special grandchild, Kiptyn Johnson; sister, Carolyn Free of Sibley, MS; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Vardaman and Lillian Bell Bain Watkins; brothers and sisters, James Mack Watkins, Billy Gene Watkins, Harold Thomas Watkins, Freeman Wade Watkins, Christine Jeter and Wardean Flannagan. Pallbearers are Clark Sanders, Josh Watkins, Joey Johnson, Terry Watkins, Logan Ray, and Michael Whitman.
