Marianne Holland Myers Kosciusko, MS Mrs. Marianne Holland Myers died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Mustang Estates in Burleson, TX. Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Barry Corbett and Rev. Mike Myers will officiate the services. She was born on October 4, 1929 in New Orleans, LA to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Holland, Sr. of Hollandale, MS. She graduated from Hollandale High School and Belhaven College, where she was "May Queen" and a Beauty. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Kosciusko, where she was a soloist and Sunday school teacher. She taught Public School Music at Kosciusko schools for many years. She was best known for her red lipstick at school. She was a member of the Women's League Club and hosted the annual Christmas party every year. Mrs. Myers is survived by three sons, Marty (Donna) Myers, Mike (Sarah) Myers, and Steve (Melissa) Myers; ten grandchildren, Reese, Warner, Mallory, Wesley, Holland, Katy, Andrew, Matthew, Rachael, and Susannah; three great-grandchildren, William, Samuel, and Ayla Ray. Pallbearers are Wes Myers, Holland Myers, Reece Myers, Warner Myers, Tyler Gnade and Andrew Myers. Honorary pallbearers are William Roby and Howard Hunt.
