Margie Carol Pace Edwards

Margie Carol Pace Edwards, 81, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at her son's home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2020 in the Parkway Cemetery. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Durant. She was a retired nursing assistant working for the University Hospital in Durant and the Attala Nursing Center in Kosciusko. When she retired, she worked for Leonard's Department Store. Survivors include her husband, George Edwards of Durant; son, Jeff (Monica) Edwards of Walker, LA; daughter, Linnea McMillan of Canton, MS; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Jerrell Pace of Kosciusko, Jack Pace of Brandon, and Jerry Pace of Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Wanda Louise Steed Pace; and brother, Jimmy Pace. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Ellis, Barry Pace, David Williams, Walter Edwards, Jude Bourgeious, and Ryan McMillan. Memorials can be made to Durant First Baptist Church.
