Margaret Faith Graham Hamilton

Margaret Faith "Peggy" Hamilton, 83, passed away on December 27, 2015. Mrs. Hamilton was born, Margaret Faith Graham on November 11, 1932 to the late Leon and Carol May Graham. She attended Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN and received a teaching certificate. She taught school briefly then moved to Hillsdale, MI where she worked for an art studio, Munn Art Studio, that made scene-o-felt teaching material for churches and missionaries. In the 1970's, when the studio was sold, she then moved to Marietta, GA to work as an assistant to the owner of the studio who became the District Superintendent of the of the Free Methodist Church in Georgia. Once settled into life in Marietta, Peggy became very involved with a single's group at the church she attended and enjoyed planning events and making newcomers feel welcomed. This is where she met the love of her life, Henry Hamilton, and at the age of 43, she and Henry were married on June 12, 1976. She was a faithful member of Atlanta First Wesleyan Church (now Bold Beginnings International Church). She worked diligently in many areas of the church but most enjoyed teaching the children about missions. She worked very hard for the Lord in every place she went. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her sister Mary Edna Brooke of Elkhart, IN; step daughter, Kim Hamilton of Lake City, GA; brother-in-law, Rev. Paul Loucks of Bristol, IN; and many beloved and devoted nieces and nephews. Other than her husband and parents, she was also pre-deceased by an older sister, Donna May Loucks and a brother-in-law, Cyril Brooke. Visitation is from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with burial in the Jenkins Cemetery. There is also a memorial service scheduled for Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Bold Beginnings International Church, Ellenwood, GA.
